Kavi Elektromekanik was established in 1995 as a family-owned company. It was founded to operate in automatic door systems and electrical contracting services.
In early 1996, an authorized dealership agreement was signed with Dorma Automatic Doors, one of the world’s leading brands in automatic door systems. In addition, an authorized dealership agreement was established with Çuhadaroğlu, and implementation works were initiated.
The required training process in Germany was successfully completed, and a certified applicator certificate was obtained. A workshop production facility was established, and the production of automatic doors began. The company also completed its first international project in Ukraine.
Kavi withdrew from electrical contracting services and began contributing to the industry with a wider range of automatic door solutions. The company first carried out automatic door services and installations at airports. Yeşilköy, Dalaman, Antalya, and Esenboğa Airports were among these projects.
Kavi expanded its capacity by moving to a new office and workshop facility. The company successfully completed its first major project at Profilo Shopping Mall. It also carried out its first hospital automatic door installation at Çapa Medical Faculty.
Automatic door applications were carried out for holiday resort projects. During this period, custom productions for garden and garage doors were also developed.
Kavi began providing decorative design and implementation solutions for the first time. Valuable contributions were made to historical restoration projects such as Hagia Sophia, the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, and Akaretler Row Houses.
Kavi relocated to its new office building and started offering higher quality corporate services to its customers. During this period, automatic door applications were completed at Antalya and Esenboğa airports.
Kavi began serving hotel and holiday resort projects with a broader product portfolio. The company also started providing project design consultancy services to architectural and construction firms.
Kavi started implementing custom solutions for corporate offices, including glass partitions, glass railings, and glass door systems.
At the Zorlu Center project, automatic doors, folding glass doors, glass door systems, and custom door applications were successfully completed.
Kavi successfully contributed to the restoration project of Atatürk’s House in Thessaloniki.
Within the Corpera Hotel renovation project, custom bronze metal-framed antique-style shower doors, washbasin countertops, and mirror frame applications were successfully completed.
In integrated residential, business center, and shopping mall projects such as Ferko Signature, Ferkoline, Maslak 42, and Emaar, Kavi successfully implemented complementary architectural solutions including pergolas, custom security cabins, curved glass partitions, and elevator glass claddings alongside automatic door systems.
During the pandemic period, the company contributed to public health by developing remote-controlled and touchless sensor-operated doors.
Our company expanded its experience and expertise by providing consultancy and implementation services for exterior facades and interior glass partition systems at the factory facilities of companies such as Halıcı Elektronik and Mashprom.
In the Ritz Hotel Nişantaşı project, our company successfully designed and implemented custom shower door systems and elevator glass cladding applications.
In addition to domestic projects, automatic door applications were successfully carried out in valuable international projects across countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Romania, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Libya, and Dubai.
Today, our company continues to provide services for valuable projects in project design and implementation while closely following developments in the industry and embracing continuous improvement.
