KAVI History...
KAVI Electromechanical began operations in 1995 as a family-owned company.
It was established to undertake automatic door and electrical contracting works.
1995 – 2005
In early 1996, KAVI entered into an authorized dealership agreement with Dorma, a world-renowned brand in automatic doors. Additionally, an authorized dealership agreement was established with Cuhadaroglu, and applications commenced. The necessary training process was completed in Germany, leading to the acquisition of a certified applicator certificate. A workshop production facility was established, marking the start of automatic door manufacturing. KAVI completed its first international project in Ukraine.
In 1997, KAVI withdrew from electrical contracting and began contributing to the industry with a broader range of products in automatic doors. Initially, services and applications were provided for automatic doors at airports, including Yeşilköy, Dalaman, Antalya, and Esenboğa airports.
In 1998, KAVI moved to a new office and workshop unit, expanding its capacity. The company successfully completed the Profilo Shopping Mall project for the first time and implemented automatic door solutions at the Çapa Medical Faculty, marking its first application in a hospital. In 2001, automatic door applications were carried out in a holiday resort project. During this period, custom productions for garden garage doors were also developed.
2005-2015
In 2005, KAVI began its decorative design and application services for the first time. It provided valuable services in historical restoration projects, including the Hagia Sophia, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Akaretler Row Houses.
In 2006, KAVI moved to a new office building, enhancing its ability to provide high-quality corporate services to customers. During this period, automatic door applications were implemented at Antalya and Esenboğa airports.
From 2007 to 2010, KAVI expanded its services in hotel and resort projects, offering a more comprehensive range of products. In 2008, KAVI started providing consulting services for project design to architectural and construction firms.
In 2009, KAVI began offering customized solutions for corporate office glass partitions, glass railings, and doors.
Between 2012 and 2013, KAVI successfully completed automatic doors, glass folding doors, glass doors, and special door applications for the Zorlu Center project. In 2013, KAVI contributed to the restoration project of the Atatürk House in Thessaloniki.
In 2015, KAVI completed applications for special bronze metal framed antique-style shower doors, sink countertops, and mirror frames in the Corpera Hotel renovation project.
Between 2016 and 2020, KAVI successfully implemented complementary architectural structures such as pergolas, special security cabins, curved glass partitions, and elevator glass claddings in integrated housing and business center projects like Ferko Signature, Ferkoline, Maslak 42, and Emaar.
From 2020 to 2022, our company contributed to public health by producing remote-controlled or hand-sensor doors to mitigate the effects of the pandemic. In 2022, KAVI increased its experience and knowledge by providing both consulting and application services for external façades and internal glass partitions in factory facilities for companies like Halıcı Elektronik and Mashprom.
In 2022, KAVI successfully designed and implemented custom shower doors and elevator glass cladding for the Ritz Hotel Nişantaşı project.
Between 2015 and 2022, KAVI Electromechanical provided consulting services to many architectural application firms. Beyond domestic projects, our company has successfully implemented automatic door applications in valuable projects in countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Romania, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Libya, and Dubai.
KAVI continues to provide services for valuable projects in project design and applications.
